Objectives of the Course In this course, it is aimed to provide students with the ability to transfer objects on paper in two and/or three dimensions, accurately, precisely and in scale, using drawing tools, in line with technical drawing rules and standards, through practices and assignments. Two and three dimensional views of geometric objects are drawn by hand technique and the relations between them are understood. Professional drawing rules and standards are taught.
Course Content Within the scope of this course; Technical drawing rules, tools and standards, which are the language that students will use to explain the objects they have designed in their minds to others, are taught in the studio environment. Lessons are reinforced with homework in order to develop the ability to think and draw objects in two and three dimensions with different perspectives. Drawing techniques are taught to lay the groundwork for interior design project courses.
Course Methods and Techniques In this course, students are first introduced to drawing techniques. During the lesson, the students make the drawings under the supervision of the lecturers. Homework is given so that they can reinforce the topics they have learned in the lesson and improve their skills. Students are given a critical assessment of their drawings and their development is ensured. Participation in the lessons is important as the lesson will be carried out mainly through classroom practices. Attendance at 80% of this course is required.

6 They can make various geometric drawings using compasses
7 They can make perspective drawings by looking at the views according to the projection planes and projection types.
8 They can visualize the drawing in three dimensions according to different perspective types.
9 They can draw the plans, sections and views of their professional drawings in the appropriate form and standard.
