Objectives of the Course Öğrencilere anlatma ve ifade etmeyle ilgili temel becerileri kazandırmak, onların Türkçeyi doğru ve güzel kullanmalarını pekiştirmek, Türk şiiri hakkında entelektüel birikimlerine katkı sağlamak, proje sunmak veya hazırlıklı/hazırlıksız konuşma yapmada yararlı olacak konuşma yöntem ve tekniklerini kavramasını sağlamak, onlara günlük hayatta iş başvurusu, iş görüşmesi gibi mesleki uygulamalarda gerekli olacak konuşma becerisinin kazanılmasını sağlamaktır.
Course Content Basic elements of communication, voice and breath management, effective use of body language in speech,
prepared and impromptu speeches and applied studies, types of oral expression and

applied studies.

102 Students who successfully complete this course; · Knows the physical and mental elements of speech. · Have information about stress, intonation, pronunciation disorders; pronunciation while speaking corrects mistakes. Makes prepared and impromptu speeches. Gains knowledge of interview techniques. . Oral expression skills develop. · Gains correct and fluent speaking skills. · Develops the skills of speaking effectively in front of the public. · Understands the effect of body language on speakers and uses body language in bilateral communication. · Knows that body language differs between cultures. · Knows and applies speaking strategies. · Gain knowledge about the types of oral expression. · Have information about the history and current development of Turkish poetry and Turkish theater and its basic works. Gains knowledge of concepts such as linguistic diversity, bilingualism, multilingualism, and linguistic sustainability.
