Objectives of the Course With the ICM 311 INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE STUDIO III course, it is aimed that the students develop a design strategy and reach the competency to implement it, with the project application in which the design problem is solved by blending the information obtained in other technical and theoretical courses.
Course Content The main feature of the ICM 311 studio course is that the design language created through critical thinking is put into practice, and the process of designing original details focuses on the advanced skills expected from the interior architect. In this course, it is aimed to develop the ability to solve design problems in which the close environment of the building is handled with the interior, the relationship between interior / exterior and original details.
Course Methods and Techniques The course will be conducted through theoretical presentations, discussions, design practices and projects in the studio and/or as homework, individual and/or group studies, panels and individual critiques.
